Development and growth of the punching and shearing machine industry

Punching and shearing machines play a critical role in industrial production, and China is a major market for these machines. In fact, the national machinery industry science and technology development plan has specifically prioritized the development and localization of key equipment, such as machine tools, large-scale automatic control systems, and fine measurement instruments, during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period. With the goal of achieving greater independence and pioneering innovation in the machinery industry, China is working to establish a solid foundation of robust production equipment.

 


In order to promote a faster opening of enterprises, my country has incorporated the related payment policy into the process. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on leveraging the capabilities of key industries such as automobiles, ships, aerospace, military, light industrial appliances, petrochemicals, and others in the large and fine forming machine tools sector. The demand for equipment in these sectors is urgent and has consequently led to significant growth in the punching and shearing machine industry in my country.

 

During that period, the CNC punching and shearing machine industry had a lower domestic market ownership rate compared to the domestic punching and shearing machine industry. In fact, it was only about half of the ownership rate of the latter. Additionally, the CNC punching and shearing machine industry relied heavily on external sources. The market share for high-end CNC punching and shearing machines, especially those that boasted high precision and sharpness, was negligible, accounting for less than one-tenth of the overall market. This indicates a significant potential for the development of China's high-speed precision CNC punching and shearing machines.

 

The punching and shearing machine has a long history of use in the equipment manufacturing industry. Over time, significant technological advancements have been made in terms of heavy-duty capabilities, precision performance, intelligent features, and the ability to deploy a variety of materials. These improvements have helped to support national productivity and have enhanced the machine's overall effectiveness in meeting demand.
